After staying with quest for 6 days, I found myself with a parking ticket.nWhen the hotel discovered this and ascertained that I received it after following their advice as where to park my motorcycle , they were extremely quick to be in touch and have since reimbursed me for the cost of the ticket.nSo, I'll tank the hotel and staff for an extremely pleasant stay and would thoroughly recommend the Quest to stay at while visiting Invercargill.
Exactly what was advertised - spacious, well appointed, clean and quiet apartment. Close to the centre of town. I had everything I needed for a single night stay, and a few nights would have been enjoyable too.nnAll I’d improve is more secure parking, but my vehicle was fortunately okay overnight.
Looks a bit run down from the outside but on good location in city centre. We were warmly welcomed and given all information. The room, a studio apartment was a nice surprise and had a kitchenette, seating area, large bed and bathroom. There was daily room service. We stayed 4 nights and used it as a base to visit various places along the coastline. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance and a mini grocery store nearby if you want to cook in. Free on site parking first come first serve Good value for money. Would stay here again.
Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, free parking. Excellent place to stay in mid town. Short of staff, understandable over Christmas and new year season. Really friendly and helpful staff members
We're on a road trip across Southland, stayed 3 nights, old post office building, on main Street but no traffic noise. Parking is a bit limited though.
