The Devon Hotel - New Plymouth

We got a free upgrade to a king studionRoom was great, 4 starsnStaff were friendly, 4 stars.nRooms were incredibly clean. Kudos to housekeeping staff, 5 starsnBeds and pillows were super comfortablenAll carparks were taken sonwe had to park on the road, 1 star.nOverall great value for money and will be our new preferred accommodation when we come to New Plymouth.

Our experience at The Devon Hotel in New Plymouth was truly delightful. The staff extended a warm welcome, ensure that we enjoy our stay here. The check in procedure was easy and straightforward. Our room was upgraded to deluxe which was surprising for us. Room was cleaned and cozy atmosphere making it perfect retreat. Room was big enough for two people and usually during our stay we don't watch TV on holidays but we got an opportunity to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime at night. Moreover, bathroom and amenities were cleaned and well maintained.nOne of the standout feature of our room was the pool next door, which provided an ideal sitting area for relaxation. Despite that, breakfast was good not much options in vegetarian food but overall good. Additionaly, the hotels's location was very good. Situated near the city center and scenic coastal walkway. which is perfect spot for long walk.nwe will recommend this hotel and looking forward to the opportunity to return in the future for good stay in this hotel again.

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended!nWe had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel in Devon. Although it was quite busy during the holiday period, the service was absolutely top-notch throughout. The staff were wonderful — always friendly, helpful, and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible.nnThe hotel offers buffet options for both breakfast and dinner, which we tried and can confidently say are great value for money. Every meal was delicious with a wide variety of choices.nnLocation-wise, it’s very central, making it easy to explore the city. A nice bonus is that they also provide free bikes for guests, which we really appreciated.nnOverall, we had an amazing experience and would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to come back!

Our room was clean and tidy with a great selection of channels and streaming options on the Tv in our room.nnComfortable beds, helping staff with great art around the hotel.nnWe even saw Mount Taranaki from our room.nnWe didn't eat here tough but did like the menu. We wanted to eat out.nnWe loved our stay, and we definitely stay here again the next time we are in New Plymouth

Wonderful StaynI had a great experience during my stay. The rooms were nice and exceptionally clean very well maintained and comfortable. A big shoutout to the room service team for doing a fantastic job. They were prompt, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend
