Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki

Thank you, Novotel Taranaki. You made our trip to New Plymouth so good! From the time we entered, we waited for a few minutes and we told them our reservation details and they instantly gave us our hotel key and where to go! We have had many good services with other hotels, but this one is above and beyond. When we entered the room, it was spectacular! The view was blocked by a wood plank, but there were some reasons which we thought was fine. We stayed there for 1 night and it was amazing. It was decently spacious. We ordered some drinks and it took 15 minutes, which was fine. The TV was good since we could cast from our devices which we intended to bring. It was fast and responsive, which most hotels don't offer. We didn't have time for breakfast since we had to leave. It's near the city center which is good since we explored the city most of our trip. Parking was fine. We paid NZD$20 for basement parking, which was limited but spacious. The staff were super kind when we left and they thanked us for our stay. Thank you so much.

This place is hands down the best hotel in New Plymouth. Super close to everything you need. Amazing amount of parking. The staff here are super amazing and really looked after me. The rooms on the sea side have an awesome look out over the ocean. The on site restaurant is the best in town. Super easy to find

We regularly stay at Novotel New Plymouth and the service, cleanliness, food and beverage, and rooms are consistently very good. We just upgraded our Accor Membership to silver so we'll be back again soon when visiting family in New Plymouth. It would just be great if there was an option of adjoining rooms for families so we could spread our young family of four out of one standard queen room. If there is an option, it wasn't offered to recommended to us.

Went back in 2021. Pretty comfortable rooms, great central location - extremely accommodating of my dietary requirements coeliac, gluten-free with a great well-labeled range of foods at breakfast, which I was very grateful for.

I enjoyed the hotel breakfast buffet during my family vacation.nMy family had a satisfying meal with delicious food, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere.nI am very grateful to the staff who gave my two-year-old daughter a kiwi bird doll as a gift.nThere is a Tesla electric charger in the hotel parking lot, so it is also a useful place for travelers traveling by electric car.
