Millennium Hotel New Plymouth Waterfront

Great location, amazing views, comfy beds, spacious rooms, clean, friendly and accommodating staff. I’ve give a 3 star as when we went to pay they were going to charge us extra to what was provided on our reservation confirmation. Praise the Lord that we had verification of original quoted amount or they would have charged us extra. Good learning experience to request confirmation of reservations moving forward. Overall it was a lovely stay. Thank you Millennium Hotel New Plymouth.

Room was clean and spacious, check in /out was not good. No one at reception when we arrived at 4.30pm, had to use the phone to call but no one answered and mailbox was full, had to knock on a back door. Someone finally turned up, didn't say hello, confusion over payment etc. During check out I was originally overcharged. The attached restaurant was great as was the location near the beach, but wouldn't stay there again.

Fantastic place to stay. Close to town close to walkway close to everything. Room was clean and tidy and well set up. Friendly staff very accommodating. Breakfast at Salt was very yummy. Staff initially attentive but disappeared for late "brunchers". Lovely seaside vistas. Eggs Benedict and bacon/eggs on toast also good .Service: 3/5

The staff that service the room excellent. Front of house average. Had issues over the rate we saw on line to what we were charged. Not a great difference but annoying. Also they said they would upgrade on the phone but didn't deliver when you arrived.Rooms: 3/5

Great view from our room. Free parking for guests. Walking distance to city centre. Salt restaurant fab meals and view. Happy to recommend.Rooms: 4/5

Highly recommend A++ from the time we arrived great service with a smile our room was clean and bed so comfy sky TV to watch and breakfast was the best I had a hot chocolate sooo good and the big breaky A++. What stood out for me and my friends was the friendly and professional service from our waiter who was new but soo welcoming and made us feel at home with her amazing service to the rest of staff at the restaurant checking to see we were all happy etc. They worked well tgther great team work all round. The staff member who was cleaning the rooms A+ for service with warm welcoming presence and smile we would Def come back and wi be recommending to all our friends and family. Thank you for making our weekend the best.

Lovely place to stay - clean, tidy, and central - great ocean views! The beds are devine sooooo comfortable! Yummy breakfast with gorgeous views. Great place to stay!

Stayed for the UB40 concert and our Wedding Anniversary. Super handy to town and amenities. And a big thank you for the bottle of bubbles, totally unexpected, cheers.Rooms: 4/5

First time staying here and thoroughly enjoying our stay. The hotel is clean and the accommodation is very nice. Nicely stocked room for the basic tea/coffee amenities. Have another day to go but Will definitely come back.
