King and Queen Hotel Suites

Absolutely outstanding places to stay in New Plymouth. The staff were amazing and the cleaners do a great job of servicing what are excellent well appointed rooms. Our room was on the third floor with sea views and a small balcony. There are also discounts provided at other cafes and restaurants and you are able to charge back to your room. All in all added to an already excellent long weekend in Taranaki.

We were at this hotel for seven nights just recently and cannot speak highly enough of service, amenities, comfort and location. Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make us feel so welcome. Although the location is central - and very close to a range of exceptional restaurants catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner - we tended to make full use of our room's excellent kitchenette facilities and happily 'ate in' each day. The room was spacious and meticulously serviced each day and the view of the sea was particularly appreciated. Special mention of Chloe who serviced our room most days - always completed early and was an absolute pleasure to return to each day. Thank you Chloe!! We would thoroughly recommend the King and Queen Hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, unbeatable location and comfort and style rarely found in other establishments. Thank you K and Q!!

Booked the studio unit. Overlooks the courtyard. A lot of comments about the amazing noise blocking screens and how quiet the rooms are in the reviews. THESE DO NOT WORK. It is very loud and the music and yelling go on really late. Unless you can sleep through anything I don't recommend staying here. I had on white noise and could still here it. The rooms are small suitable for only one person. Very expensive rooms for what you get.

Perfect location when visiting New Plymouth. Staff are exceptional. The choice of great cafes and restaurants close by is an added bonus. In walking distance of the waterfront, Pukeora Park and shopping best if s is the wonderful art collection within the hotel.

Rarely had a hotel that fits 5 stars on every apsect. Great location with partnerships with local pubs and bars. Rooms are perfect and clean and very silent airco. Hotel offers additional services as well launrdy etc. And of course, super friendly staff!
