King and Queen Hotel Suites

This has to be the best place to stay in NZ! The rooms are so thoughtfully appointed, anything you need is right there. Including the dining precinct- WOW wow wow! The food, bars vibe is amazing, and right at the doorstep. And again for breakfast- right there at the doorstep with a couple of options depending on what you feel like. and as others have said, the team here make you feel like VIP’s! The front desk, yesterday was Jeanine and today the most charming gentleman- you just felt so valued and welcomed, like from a friend you hadn’t seen in a while.nI am 100% impressed with this 5 star venue- perfect for work, a treat for your partner of a weekend away with your crew.

Real nice place in the CBD. Rooms were a decent size and well appointed. Had e bikes for hire which was perfect for the location close to the New Plymouth waterfront. The best thing though, were the staff. Friendly, helpful...just super pleasant to deal with and made our stay more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!!

It’s the location, arty vibe and large rooms which make this a wonderful base for a stay in New Plymouth.nAnchoring the art/ dining precinct everything is at your doorstep, and you can charge many of the external eateries back to your room!nFYI don’t miss dining at Social Kitchen a couple of blocks away. And on the doorstep enjoy cocktails at Snug, wine at Itch, pizza & beer at Mrs White, lunch at Public Kitchen in the courtyard and brunch at Monica’s across the road - all are recommended - you won’t leave NP hungry!nA minor observation is that’s rooms look a little better on the internet than IRL - but they are very spacious and comfortable. The overall design of the hotel meets the arty vibe and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall very highly recommended , probably other best concept hotel we’ve stayed at in a city of this size anywhere in NZ.

We had such a wonderful staycation!! Thanks to Such lovely staff, amazing comfortable beds, beautiful rooms , excellent shower pressure and loved REAL WORLD bodynWash, shampoo hand soap etc. will definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful staycation here at Kings and Queens. The service was fantastic, we had booked the wrong dates but luckily they had availability so it was a super simple process to transfer our booking. They have quite a few room service options and I loved being able to pre-order breakfast the night before.
