Millennium Hotel New Plymouth Waterfront

We were admiring our very limited sea view when we looked the other way and realised we were staring at Mt Taranaka, right up above the clouds, amazing. This hotels location is just perfect. It's right on the seafront with the Coastal Walkway going past and just next door to all the shops. At the nearby I Site there was a really interesting museum with a top rate cafe/restuarant. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Really great.

Walked in for accommodation and told they were fully booked. Checked online and found 5+ rooms available. Went back in and they then found a room and price matched. Good size rooms. Nice restaurant. Improvement needed on customer service for Hotel. Restaurant service was superb!

We spent 3 nights at the brilliantly located Millennium Hotel having arrived in New Plymouth without a booking and luckily finding the only accommodation located so close to both the waterfront AND the best of downtown dining and entertainment. We cant speak highly enough of friendly, helpful Sharika at the front desk who went above and beyond to assist us with our booking . . truly amazing service.nOur room was comfortable and while we ran out of time to sample the in house Restaurant 'Salt' which looked wonderful facing out over the Ocean . . we did hear rave reviews of both service and food from other guests . . something that didnt surprise us at all!nThis place is a 'must stay' if you are lucky enough to be visiting the amazing New Plymouth . . we cant wait to go back!!

This Hotel was recommended by a great friend who regularly visits New PlymouthnThe room was well appointed and the facilities and fixtures remained intact during the 2 earth tremors we got during our visit 3.7 magnitudenBreakfast was served with a smile and we had ample food. The only thing that needs attention in the restaurant is the upholstery on the chairs. Several chairs are in much need of repair or replacement of fabric.nWe would like to stay here again on our next visit.

Staff very friendly and obliging.nWe felt the staff were very present and pleasant. All staff including Cleaning Staff, their focus was on Millennium Hotel Guests Five Stars
