Awesome local pub to have casual delicious dinner at and catch up with friends. Staff are all very welcoming and brilliant. Particularly Emily and Sarah who are legends! Butter Chicken and Chicken Schnitzel are sensational.

The mocktail is so good! Good place, great service plus free wifi!

I have been in NZ for 12 years, this is the 1st proper Pub I have had the pleasure of visiting. Fantastic staff, engaged lively and happy in their work, very attentive. Great barman who knows how to pour a Guinness properly, not rushed and delivered to me when it was ready. Irish heritage for sure and the experience was just like an Irish bar. All that was missing was a couple of locals with Music in their hearts who would strike up a session and more musicians would come/go and join in. Having said that the warriors were playing so there was action and atmosphere a plenty. I will be back and make the effort to book accommodation in this area again just to go to the Corner Bar.nFantastic meal was had which was the best value i experienced on this trip to Auckland, fresh ingrediencies perfectly cooked , simple short menu, perfect.

We came here when our local friends had dinner plans. The food was super disappointing. Boa pork bun was dry and tough. Fish and chips was almost no fish it was pretty much a joke. Tartar sauce looked like it had been sitting out. It looked like two chicken fingers instead of fish. New server was working hard.

Our mums group went to the Corner for a ladies evening out and had the best time. The staff were SO friendly and accommodating it just made the whole place. The wine selection was decent and the fries
