The Flying Moa

It was busy when we arrived, and as it is a pub, it got quite noisy with the crowd and the TVs playing. Food was good, drink menu was said to be updated soon some drinks we ordered were not available, and there would be a cake fee of $15 if you bring a cake. The moa footprint is cool though. We booked with First Table, so it was half price for all the mains.

The place is has inside and verandah seating. Clean & tidy with a casual vibe. Good place for afternoon drinks or to watch sports. Food is good, simple yet tasty. Good prices for what you get. Staff are nice and helpful. Heaps of parking outside.

Went with friends & we did enjoy our food for the most part. Ribeye steak, market fish, Chilli garlic prawns oddly on a bread type base, karaage chicken not crispy, carrots & pistachio fritters, citrus cheesecake not that citrusy but very creamy. Large meals & good service, a bit quiet for a Saturday night. I would go back again.

Great ambience and food! One of the best espresso martini I’ve had. Massive shout out to Callum! He’s so friendly and with the warmest welcoming smile! Definitely coming back! Thanks Callum. Keep rocking!
