I had late lunch here with my family.nThe service here is perfect we got seated to our table straight away, orders taken when we were ready and food arrived in no time. Staff are very friendly and attentive.nThe food is so delicious! I had the chicken schnitzel with mash potato, coleslaw and gravy. *chefs kiss *nI like the vibes and atmosphere in the restaurant. There's outdoor and indoor seating. There are big tv screens playing rugby so I can imagine when there's a game on how packed it would be.n100% would come back to have lunch or dinner.

Wholesome Lunch Date at Garrison Public House nnSpent a lovely afternoon with my hubby at Garrison Public House, and it was everything we needed – chill vibes, good food, and great company nnWe were greeted by the loveliest staff and felt right at home. To kick things off, I sipped on a Bikini Bottom while hubby went for a Tower of Export Gold – and of course, I had to try his too I also had a refreshing Long Island Iced Tea… cheers to that! nnFor mains, I had the Fettuccine Carbonara – creamy and satisfying, though I do like mine a touch more rich still hit the spot though . Hubby went for the Winter Harvest Spaghetti – earthy, hearty and perfect for a cold afternoon.nnWe shared sides of Salt & Pepper Squid crispy, tender, yum and a Margherita Pizza that was hot, cheesy, and oh so moreish nnSuch a wholesome, delicious afternoon. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

There are not many places where you go out to a bar , cafe or restaurant that can tick all the boxes. Great Atmosphere, great customer service and great food. A few nights ago we tried Garrison Public House. We were greeted warmly at the desk by Cameron who welcomed us and showed us to our table. He explained the menu and the meal deals that were on offer and gave us a few moments to decide. He very quickly put our drinks order in and another one of the friendly staff delivered our drinks and took our meal order. Cameron delivered the meals and as he place them down he explained what each meal was and then checked if we would like another drink.nThe meals were beautifully presented and you can tell by this that the Chefs take pride in what they do .nBoth meals hit the mark so to speak .nCameron stopped as he was walking by and asked if we were happy with everything, which we were.nThe meals were of a good size which unfortunately didn’t leave any room for dessert.nThis was a great all round display of excellent customer service. 10/10 to Cameron and his staff. Well done.

Staff were all friendly but service was so slow despite there being 4 chefs - understand it was probably busier than usual with Fathers Day however it wasn’t overly packed tbh. We were seated at 6.30pm, had to approach the waiter at 7.30pm to take our order and food came out at 8.30pm - not even our 3 y/o kids meal came out earlier? Appreciate we were given a 15% discount in compensation without asking which was great, however the food was underwhelming and cold. Garlic butter wasn’t melting on the Steak but didn’t want to send it back as it would then be cooked well done this happened to one of our other steak meals. Focaccia bread was burnt and Cheese Fondue was cold. Disappointing after waiting 2 hours to eat and having great meals here in the past.

We dined here last week and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is great, the food came out quickly and was delicious. The portion sizes were also very reasonable and our server George was extremely helpful in suggesting some great drinks and dishes and overall just had a great vibe. It’s a great casual spot that’s inbetween the city and other suburbs!
