Garrison Public House

Good service really nice front staff when we arrived. Advised us about the Star social app which was helpful. The kitchen was a bit slow to get our food out considering when we arrived it was not busy. Otherwise nice meal but small portion for what we paid. It’s a good place for groups though.

We were served by the lovely Shai and honestly could not rave about her enough! she was soo sweet and caring and overall just had a lovely energy about her food was delish! Especially the calamari Would definitely come back again!

Garrison is located in the restaurant area of Sylvia Park. It is fairly large and does have indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't book but were able to get a table for dinner. Like other pubs, you order at the bar and the food comes to your number. We grabbed the Garrison platter and ribs to share. The ribs were ok and weren't smothered in sauce. It was tender. The platter was nice particularly the chili prawnsnand the squid. I wasn't a big fan of the croquette since it had a weirdly soft texture. It was a decent meal for four to share. It is a nice place to grab some food and drinks.

I have been here twice now. Nice accessible restruant in the front of Sylvia Park. The atmosphere of this place is lax, sort of place you’d have a catch up with a buddy. No table service, just online or at the bar service. First time coming here I ordered a pork belly roast, did not disappoint, pork belly was a good sized portion. Tasty and flavorful. Today I had a platter for two, once again pork belly bites were amazing, squid wasn’t fishy or chewy, although the aoli was made from scratch lacking zest and moreso oily. Fried corn slices were delicious, and made the platter. Overall good place, I recon there is more potential to improve.

Cameron was absolutely fantastic! The food was immaculate. We brought visitors and def gave them an awesome experience
