Garrison Public House

I went here last year for my birthday and honestly had a really nice time. The staff were kind, friendly, and made us feel welcome, which always makes a big difference. The food and overall atmosphere were good, and it’s definitely somewhere I’d go back to again.nnThe only thing to mention is that it can get quite loud, especially when it’s busy, so I probably wouldn’t recommend it if you have small kids or are looking for somewhere really quiet. That said, if you want a more relaxed evening, you could book a table outside, which would be a much nicer option. Overall, a great place and definitely worth a visit.

Very slow service and an extremely long wait for the food. The food quality was also very poor. I ordered a medium steak but was served a well-done steak instead. One of the kids was served burnt chicken that was so dry it was difficult to swallow. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience.

So delicious! The garlic loaf was a bit hard but the calamari was delicious as well as my chicken schnitty, wow was that good! Would totally recommend

We stopped here after a full day of shopping. There are a lot of choices to eat, we decided to go with Garrison. Didn't disappoint. Staff are fast and friendly. Food is really good

Came here on First table , the steak was really good , the schnitzel was also good but the mash with it was very dry and tasteless . Service was average , empty plates sitting for like 20minutes before I flagged someone and still they didn’t come to the table . We ended up leaving and going elsewhere for dessert . Was enjoyable apart from the service .
