The Bruce Apartments in Akaroa

Wish I could rate more than 5… Came with family to Akaroa for a weekend getaway. Tom was a blessing in disguise. He was a perfect host. Made us very comfortable, upgraded to one of their premium apartment, reduced price and gave us a late checkout - GOLD Apartment is immaculate, clean and well maintained. Have all utilities as per need. Highly recommend. Tom, we are definitely coming back to The Bruce. THANK YOU MY MAN!

Got a unit here last minute new years eve. Unit was contemporary and close to local establishments However, our first morning we woke up to a huge ant infestation, we had left nothing out The rubbish bin interior lid was filthy! Stuck on rubbish, the shower had grime along the bottom and the bed was saggy. Another issue was the noise from the pipes any time another unit turned on a shower, etc All that aside we enjoyed our stay

Apartment was sub standard. Broken dishwasher, broken washing machine, broken drier. Furniture had lumps of leather missing and was uncomfortable to sit on. Cracks in ceiling. Dirty and dusty. Stains on carpet.Rooms: 1/5

Slowly fall asleep listening the gentle waves and the birds chirping. Best accomodation in Akaroa

Great place to stay had everything you would need clean room, staff friendly. The one thing that wasn't a biggie was there were dirty dishes in dishwasher . Diffently go back highly recommendRooms: 5/5

A beautiful place to stay in Akaroa. Perfect for families. The apartment was exceptionally well located and well appointed. Spacious bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom. Very comfortable beds. You can walk everywhere to eateries, and access the wharf across the road, or trot along the lane to check out the lighthouse.

Water pressure in shower in unit 29 was non existant and there were dirt Mark's on the bathroom door.. which may have been from a dog. Considering the price we were disappointed due to these. Great location and view though. This was our second stay and wasnt as good as our first.

Very clean and tidy units. Ample space and comfy beds. View of harbour made for interesting view of cruise ship passengers queuing to board tenders at quay side.

We really enjoy our stay here it was located in a beautiful place with easy to get to the town there are restaurant within walking distance two minutes away the settlers museum is worth a visit
