Akaroa Criterion Motel

Absolutely loved our stay at Akaroa Criterion – the harbour views were next level! Super comfy king-size bed, and the C4 plunger coffee was such a treat – especially enjoyed from bed while soaking in that stunning outlook. Outstanding room facilities - could not fault. Location is just by the waterfront in the French part of town. Shops great bakery, small supermarket and several restaurants and a hotel all within around two hundred metres. Parking on-site is generous and easy to access. Terrific motel.

Perfect location for Akaroa. View was superb we were on the top floor. Cafe next door for your morning coffee. I forgot how great Akaroa is once the day trippers leave town! usually I'm one of them!. Highly recommend staying here for a break from it all. Lots of great restaurants to choose from as well!

Thank you for having us ... your property was perfect. Great location to be able to walk the town, checking was easy and very welcoming. The room view was 5 star ... comfortable bed, very clean room and the hot shower was spa quality. One of the best places we stayed at during our month in NZ!
