We loved our recent stay! I will definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to stay again. We had a waterfront ground floor apartment and it was such a cool spot. We felt very welcome and found the staff very friendly and helpful.nThe unit was clean and had everything we needed at an affordable price.

I recently stayed at Akaroa Waterfront Motels for one night and was thoroughly impressed.nnThe location, directly facing the bay, offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and sofa. The kitchen allowed us to prepare both dinner and breakfast with ease.nnI highly recommend this property to family and friends, and I will certainly return on my next visit to Akaroa.

The motel is well positioned with lovely views over the harbour and a handy 3 min walk to the north end of Akaroa township shops and restaurants. The delightful 1980s style units are very clean and the staff friendly. Unfortunately I paid almost $300 per night on their own website due to a very short notice booking. Upon arrival in 31 deg C heat, it was discovered that no air conditioning or heat pump was available for relief. On the second day we had a severe storm and no access to Sky TV or Internet for entertainment whilst indoors. I would stay here again, but I definitely would NOT pay $300! Shop around for the best deal.

This place was perfect for all our needs. It is not new, but it is well presented, fresh and clean. It is easy to walk all around town. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Loved it. Friendly staff and nice place to chill. Everything nice and clean. Value is what you'd expect to pay in Akaroa. Definitely would stay again.
