Criterion Maison Par Quay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The motel is situated in the centre of Akaroa making it easy to walk everywhere. Lovely views of the water from our upstairs room. Very comfortable bed. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Lovely toiletries to enjoy. Would definitely highly recommend.

Great customer service! Reception staff were so friendly and helpful, they really go the extra mile. Other considerations: They give you a decent amount of fresh milk. Beautiful room with most amazing views and close to all amenities, bed lovely & comfortable, underfloor heating in bathroom with lovely toiletries supplied. Place was spotless and the owners are so friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend the Criterion as a place to stay and hope to return when next in New Zealand.Rooms: 5/5

Brilliant location. Our room was spacious and very clean with a lovely view across the water. Our hosts were so welcoming and gave great recommendatioms for our stay there. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Great location. Rooms were large, very clean and were furnished well. Large comfortable bed. All in all an awesome time spent here. Walkability: Great walking access to all of Akaroa township.

Operator was extremely helpful and informative about stuff in the town and restaurants etc. Rooms were great with amazing views, only gripe was the toilets feel very clinical, and throw off the design of the place, the amount of complimentary tea and coffees available did make up for this.Rooms: 5/5

Very spacious, clean, tidy room with very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely views of the water and is a close distance to main strip with restaurants and shops. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and you should too!Rooms: 5/5
