The cemetery is in a very untidy state. Lawns need mowing and drains cleared. Cannot compare with Whanganui and Tauranga where both are looked after well.
The Anzac memorial is beautiful, a nice quiet place surrounded by trees. There cemetery is well looked after and easy accessable. A bit is provided if you have old flowers to clear away and plenty of taps for fresh water. The old oak tree is a nice place to stop and take time to reflect.
just went up to put flowers on my Dads grave.
Always tidy and well kept
