A fabulous destination playground with lots to entertain and exercise.nThe Archimedes Screw has gone, sadly, this was a great lesson to introduce a bit of history.nnIt was very hot and there was little shade. Would like to see sun shades erected.nnThe little train is wonderful, and there's the best little-park flying fox too!
It was my grandson's 1st birthday so my daughter hired the Avalon pavilion right next to the Avalon Park.
I loved this park. Its such a great place to go with your kids!
Away from the city but totally worth the drive. A quality family park with great landscapes all around. Additionally, plenty of ducks in the small pond within the park, adding another great attraction to be with kids. And yes, you are allowed to feed the ducks as long as you feed them right.
