It is modern and clean for a Chinese restaurant. The staff wear uniforms and are friendly. The food is neat, but for some reason, it tastes subtly different from what I am used to. It is less sweet, less salty, and less greasy. I plan to visit a few more times.I'm not sure what went wrong, but the sticky rice was missing after I ordered, and it only came out 30 minutes after I reordered. I don't know whose fault it is, but this needs to be corrected
New to North shore. The restaurant is so big. Many private rooms upstairs. We like big table and auto Lazy Susan and food go around.nFood amazing delicious. We enjoyed the Yum Cha and special dishes.
Another yumcha place in town. The service is great, the order is quite fast delivered. The restaurant is noisy. Food taste okay, nothing special, but the portion is slightly bigger than other yumcha restaurant.nOne thing that we don't really like,nNuo mi ji glutinous rice with salted egg and pork - a bit flavourless, too much rice, less meat insidenFried squid - meat is quite tender but not crispynChicken feet - not that tasty, flavour so sonOther siomay, ha kau, spare ribs, beef pastry, etc is alright..
We tried their dinner and yum cha and overall, the food was quite average. The Peking duck wasn't particularly impressive—the meat wasn't tender enough, and the skin could have been crispier and thinner. However, salt and pepper duck bones were pretty good, full of flavours. The tofu dish was decent as well. The chicken and pork stomach soup with Chinese yam had a nice touch, though the pork stomach wasn't cleaned thoroughly.nYum cha was honestly too tasty. The only highlight was the truffles dumplings.nIn general, the prices are on the higher side, but the taste of the dishes didn’t quite justify the cost. Perhaps the main advantage lies in the pleasant dining environment.
A good place to have friends gathering. All the different varieties Dim sum to share. It's not a good idea to dine alone here, as you can't order much!nSpecial deals available only on weekdays!
