My family really enjoyed the place. Staff were warm, welcoming and kind. We especially enjoyed the Samosa, onion bhaji and the cauliflower. Will definitely come more often during summer as it's near the beach .Food: 5/5
Great food, freshly cooked, amazing taste, good variety of dishes. You can dine in at rockpoint records or order take away.Food: 5/5
Absolutely spot on! I spent 3 months in Kerala & LOVE South Indian food, so much lighter, flavoursome & fragrant than North Indian food. Curry did not disappoint! I'm really looking forward to trying the Biryani. Welcome new option to Victoria Rd, good luck!
Great place for authentic south Indian in Newbo! Amazing food, great place.Recommended dishesDosa
Food was terrible and way overpriced. Malabar Chicken was like a supermarket microwave meal, breads were cold. Worst was the meat platter for 2, all it held was some bits of chicken and some onion bhaji. Shocking rip off.Food: 1/5
I lived in Dubai for 12 years and got used to good indian food. First time to order food from here but delighted I did. Ordered Onion Bhajis, Chicken 65 and a Chicken Biryani to take away. All were excellent, cooked in true indian style and ready for collection at the given time. So much better than the standard BIR food and recommend others to come and taste REAL indian food.
Found this place on Google when looking for a quick casual and different family meal near home. Blown away to find this gem on our doorstep. Though short, the menu is full of unusual and exciting things, and its so inexpensive we tried loads. We will be back to try more very soon.
Our first time and wow! Thosai or Dosa is so authentic and the dhal curry and coconut chutney accompaniments are spot on Kerala cuisine. Cannot wait to try every item on their menu. Please have clearer signs to let punters know you are around, we just chanced upon it by accident, what a delightful accident though. Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.
The food on offer just tastes significantly nicer than what most traditional BIR / British takes on Indian food are like. The rice, in particular, is a level above what you get elsewhere. I can't get enough of the samosas, grilled chicken and homemade chutneys!Food: 5/5
