Outrageously delicious. Imagine the best tasting Indian meal you’ve ever eaten, then know this is better. Last night in Christchurch tonight for a while and wanted a curry, I’m usually somewhat skeptical about curry in AU and NZ after living in ‘home of the balti’ in Birmingham, UK and It’s with utter luck I stumbled upon this absolute hidden gem. The only thing that surprised me about this place was the fact it wasn’t packed to the rafters with a waiting list to book. Every herb and spice perfectly placed and the flavour was to die for, and quite simply the best cheese and garlic naan I have ever eaten. The owner/front house is well mannered, prompt and very friendly. Myself and my partner left incredibly full! If I could score more than 5 I would. Highly recommend anyone who hasn’t tried this place. I’ll look forward to visiting again in feb next year!
I would give 10 stars if possible. My chef surprise fish was beautiful and service excellent. This place is amazing hidden gem! All of this was for 'walk in' Anzac dinner for 13 people! Not a small task! But flawless and so well done! I am already telling all my friends and work mates about it and will be back no doubt. Thank u guys! Food: 5/5
First time here tonight and wasn't disappointed. Food was fresh, hot and full of flavor. When we ordered the incorrect amount of Naan, they whipped up an additional one quickly. Great service and food full of flavor. Was a good price in comparison to other Indian food shops around too. A great experience. Thank you.
I’m so happy I’ve found this wonderful restaurant. Not only the most authentic, delicious Indian cuisine ever but the staff are fantastic and the prices are great too. You’ve really got to order your next Indian meal from here, you won’t be disappointed. Five stars plus !!

The food here was absolutely delicious. All of our meals came out quickly, were presented beautifully and our plates were warmed prior to our food being served. The gentleman who waited on us was ever so friendly and genuinely interested in how we were and he made sure we were happy with our meals. We just can't complement this restaurant highly enough. We dined here again with friends and family in December 2022 and once again, were not disappointed. Sometimes, you can find a great place to eat but the next time you go there, it can be completely different and a bit of a let down. I can honestly say, that this does not happen here! The Dairy free lamb madras was delicious! The meat was so tender! I also loved the fact they did a dairy free garlic naan, so yummy! Great job guys thank you so much for the meal!

first time going in here as our regular has recently shut and we we more than surprised we have never found this place before. The food is to die for and as a brit who loves my Indian I will Def be back. I had a hot lamb balti and a platter to start and could not fault it. Highly recommended
