Really disappointing. We waited over an HOUR, to get our mains. It wasn't until I asked the waitress that we finally got our food. We arrived at 6.50PM and didn't receive our mains till 8:20PM. No apology was offered. Waiting this long we were really expecting some INCREDIBLE meals. Both were meh. Considering it is more expensive than your average Indian restaurant. Very disappointing. Won't be back again sadly.
What a fantastic restaurant. We came here as a family of four for Mother’s Day. Can recommend the tandoori prawns starter and the Lamb Rogan Josh main. Staff were awesome. Thanks team! Vegetarian options: So many options Parking: Loads of parks.
We dined at little india tonight, waited for an hour for two starters, there were not many people in the restaurant at that time, even the main courses of the guests who arrived later than us were served, we are still waiting for our main courses , you can see that they have a lot of takeaways, the restaurant seems to be more focused on fulfilling their takeaway orders than serving the customers dining in the restaurant. This situation may cause the restaurant to neglect the customers who dine in and it's an irresponsible way of running a business. my dining experience at this restaurant is very poor. Long waiting time and unfair treatment can seriously affect the customers' experience. If this restaurant doesn't improve their service quality, I believe it will be difficult for them to attract repeat customers.
I wish I had read all the negative reviews about Little India before eating there. Like other reviewers we were very dissatisfied with the service. We booked a table for 5.30 thinking it would give us ample time to be out by 7pm, which was our plan. Our group of six shared starters of onion bhajis which arrived shortly after 6.00 but our mains didn't arrive until 6.55 and that was only after we asked twice where they were. We couldn't help but notice that every other table in the restaurant got their mains before we did, despite the fact that we were the first people to arrive in the restaurant and the very first people to place our order. Four of us ordered the same main dish so it couldn't have been much easier for the cook. So why did it take so long and why did every other table get served before us? Your guess is as good as mine. This restaurant needs to sort out its act behind the scenes. We won't be going back.

An average Indian restaurant. I ordered Chicken Biryani which was not at all like chicken biryani.. Look like simple fried rice with 3 or 4 very small pieces of chicken. I was like searching for chicken pieces and i paid 23 nzd for simple fired rice. We also ordered chole naan. Chole was like Ok-Ok. Stuffs was nice and helpful. Though i like interior of restaurant. Otherwise totally disappointed. As i heard its one of the best Indian food restaurant in town but it was not like that.
Well, there are other good reviews but for us it was not a good experience at all. We reserved our table online and we received the confirmation email for our reservation but when we arrived at Little India, they could not find our reservation! We ordered starter and main dish with naan. They served the starter and forgot to serve the main with naan! We waited for 40 minutes and asked them twice to check our order. They said it was a 'misunderstanding '! We are not from India, but they started speaking Indian language with us! They thought we are Indians, from our look. Very judgemental! Food was okay. Nothing special to mention. You better go to Mumbaiwala for better taste and great professionalism. The ambience and decoration was poor. Toilets were good and cleaned. One last thing! Please take the cardamom out of the dish before you serve it in front of customers! That's common sense! Poor service.
Food was good,atmosphere was nice, all was going well until the waitress cleared the dirty plates from the next table onto my table while I was still eating. Then took my plate. Unbelievable.
