Ski Time Methven Restaurant, Accommodation & Conferences

Ski Time is a chalet-style lodge with basic and somewhat dated but not shabby rooms which are very clean. Nice homely vibe with wooden floors and outside seating. Great views. On site bar/restaurant, modest sized lounge with coffee/tea station, TV, fire, and pool table. Good parking with some on site at front and rear plus on street.nnPositives: lovely quiet location just off the main road between town and hotpools. Staff was genuinely welcoming, friendly and helpful. A good range of continental breakfast food including toast, bagels, cereals, fruit etc and coffee/tea/juice is included in the already very reasonable price. Value for money is A+.nnLess positive:nWe stayed one night in a three person room with two people. It would have been cramped in winter with three people. The walls aren't soundproof but thankfully other guests were mindful. The shower curtain is on the short side so stick it to the sides of the cabin or the bathroom floor will get wet.nnOverall the experience was really good and will definitely go back if the occasion arises.

Great experience. Quiet location off the main road but still close to town centre and pools. Staff were lovely. We arrived a little earlier than expected and smiling Susie was able to arrange an early check in. Continental breakfast was included … they had a bus load of people for whom they had arranged a cooked buffet breakfast and we were also invited to enjoy that at no additional cost. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts but most especially, the dinner was absolutely delicious. Lovely friendly staff, accomodation comfortable and clean. Will definitely recommend to others.

I really want to give this place a higher rating, I was greeted well, clean rooms, looks overall nice. BUT the walls between the rooms are paper thin. You can hear every move your neighbour makes. You should not be able to hear what your neighbour says on the phone. No TV in the room to for noise cancelling effect, but I guess with TV in the rooms, there would be noise complaints.nnToo bad. Otherwise a nice place.

I'm giving 10 starts just for the lady in the reception, she's one of the nicest and awesome person I've met.nnOther than that, amazing view, what a sunrise!nAnd I didn't expected much from a light breakfest, but it was very good and all very fresh, I thought I'll get a dry toast with a bit of butter and jam, not bagels and fresh fruit and freshly made spreads.nnBad things - the minibar in the room either not working or working and making very loud noises.. had that problem in 2 different rooms :
