Methven Resort

We booked 2 rooms for 24th April 2026 and not the 1st time.nRooms are dated but go with the tariff and very comfortable,nExcellent breakfast and very polite hosts. Great views of the snow covered alps if you go looking around the conference building for them. We do hope there is a 3rd time visit.

The rooms had no hot water available and no communication regarding this. Very happy to leave first thing in the morning to head back home for a long hot shower.nTV constantly buffering.nWe definitely will not be back.....

Relaxing StaynWe were made very welcome by the man on reception and our good-sized room was just right, with a comfotable double bed, en-suite, sitting area, fridge and drink making facilities. It was only a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Methven for shops, pubs and restaurants. A very relaxing stay. Thank you.

Very disappointed with our stay here. We were on our honeymoon and this was our last stop which we regret staying here. All night we heard people running up and down the hallway, everytime someone spoke in the hallway we heard every conversation. Got woken up in the morning by the room next to us going to the toilet and coughing it was absolutely disgusting. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! When we checked in we were told our room had changed because someone else wanted the one we paid for, the room we got did not look like the one we booked. Could not find the pool which shows online and photos look nothing like it. the restaurant menu was different to what was online and prices were wrong but it was a nice feed

Nice spot, room had a hair dryer and an iron but no toaster so keep that in mind.nPerson at reception was very nice.nIt's not an exceptional place but it gets the job done for the price.
