Great food and service! Staff were very friendly, they had heaters, glass doors open, very pretty. We had pancakes they were very yummy. Chocolate milkshake was absolutely amazing!!!
A family of 4 with two younger children visiting from the UK, we had such a lovely meal. Although I wouldn't consider it a cheap meal, the quality of food and service was definitely value for money. So nice to see different options in the children's menu other than the normal burger or chicken nuggets! My two enjoyed baby ribs and nachos!nThe staff were so friendly and helpful.nYou have set the bar high for the rest of our trip!
We arrived to Bay of Islands by cruise ship on a Wednesday morning.nTook the ferry over to RussellnOnly to come across an amazing restaurant !nWe sat on a scenic bench overlooking the bay, immediately by our server.nWe are offered a menu and decided on trying the lamb tacos.nI've got to tell you being from Southern California I was amazed at the food quality and the taste was Amazing !nThe ingredients were fresh and food was presented very well.nI definitely recommend this restaurant to those of you who are going to visit the Bay of Islands and Russell.nThank you for the Great Lunch !nI will be back Soon.
Of the $170nzd spent here, the only memorable menu highlight I would recommend to others was the tandoori lamb cutlets that were an absolute delight. Fantastic flavours that come together with the perfectly cooked chops. Cajun prawns were massive disappointment wrong flavour profile!, and seafood chowder was missing freshness of seafood with a poor showing of the bread accompaniment. Fish burger lacked a decent sized fish fillet to accompany the fresh ingredients otherwise in superb sandwich.nViews at sunset were a delight though.
nWe booked a table for 30 people to celebrate my birthday at Seaside Restaurant, and everything was absolutely perfect! The food came out incredibly fast — everyone was served at the same time, and every dish was hot, fresh, and delicious. The cocktails were amazing too — I especially recommend the strawberry daiquiris! The staff were so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, which made the celebration even better. Highly recommend Seaside Restaurant for any group gathering or special occasion!
