Had a lovely meal of corn fritters and salad highly recommend. Excellent coffee too thanks Salvation Cafe Vegetarian options: Great menu
Long black was OK maybe it wasn't their best roast and we need to come back again?, cool setting with comfy couches and great art on the walls, good service remade my long black as it was bitter - the second one tasted OK. Free 1-hour parking across the road :
I had mochachinno it was good The person was friendlyFood: 4/5
Ordered the traditional stack and belgian style waffes via delivery service. Waffles were a delicious sweet treat, the berry compote it comes with is amazing. The stack though was the absolute perfect brunch meal: crispy rosti and bacon, creamy avocado and hollandaise. Will 100% be back to visit in person.
Properly made cheesecake. Photos were taken a bit late - its only half of cake
Delicious! Had the spicy pork pie, with a tomato relish. The filling was great and the crust was very tasty, the relish is to die for!
Great staff who should be justifiably proud of their food and drinks. Came for a quick bite and ended up with the most satisfying bacon sandwich, New York style. Bacon so crispy it crackled and fresh crusty bread, with all the usual suspects! Next time I am going to try the pulled pork or brisket sandwich. Lovely staff and very cosy cafe.!
A little hidden gem in Newtown. Fantastic food and fabulous coffee. The service was welcoming and genuine. Thanks Simon for a wonderful job with our food and your lovely manner. This will be a regular for me now on my many trips to Newtown
Long black very rough, tasted like cheap supermarket beans. Not sure they're being home roasted correctly as my personal home roast certainly doesn't taste this burnt or bitter. Won't be ordering here for coffe again, breakfast was good though
Went to this cafe earlier in the week. Food and hot chocolate were great but what ruined it for our group was the smell of cigarette smoke that wafted into the cafe towards the end of our visit. Someone was smoking out the back near the kitchens and as a result the cafe stunk of smoke. I can only guess it was one of the staff as the smell seemed to be coming from the back area of the cafe. Would pay to speak to your staff about this as customers di not want to be sitting in a cafe that stinks of smoke!
