Ordered Spring onion oil noodles, there is No onion at all. Looks plain, tastes average. The boiled fish with pickled cabbage is just frozen fish soaking in water. Pan fried pork buns smelled sour and tasted weird. We only had a little bite, and couldn’t continue eating the bad bun. Asked for refund for the bun , but the boss lady didn’t agree and didn’t feel apologetic at all. Not coming back again
Absolutely delicious. Had the best General Tsos chicken ever here. Really really impressive for such an unassuming restaurant. Reasonably priced 10/10
Absolutely beautiful food and amazing service. The waitress was super super friendly and accommodating. Most of the food was brought out faster than any other place I've been! And wow the food is so delicious we couldn't stop saying it. Highly recommended this lil gem. Thank you for making our night.
This is a solid place to eat. I've been several times and although some times haven't been as good as others, I do really like their food. Their egg fried rice is my go to. They give you a large serving which I always try my best to finish. Their dumplings are very nice too. I've also had the dandan noodles before and enjoyed them a lot. My sister absolutely loves their pork knuckle sandwich and talks about it often. The owner is very lovely and always makes me feel welcome.
Super rude, aggressive staff. Better off going to any other restaurant near by
The best Sichuan Dandan noodles this side of Chengdu! Definitely the best in New Zealand. Don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about possibly meant for other restaurants nearby. Although the ones about the friendly owner are 100% correct.
LEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GO TO ANY OF THE 4-5 COMPETITORS THEY HAVE NEXT DOOR The beef noodles were dry and tasted as if a stock cube was dissolved in water. food came out really slowly and staggered. they have small serving sizes spring rolls only having 3 rolls and overinflated prices. Its really not a place i would return to. -Sincerely an unhappy tourist
Staff is so friendly and the food especially the kung pao chicken was amazing.
The worst fried rice I've ever had! Had no flavour, and soggy as anything! Disgusting! Over priced rice desert too. Although customer service isn't too bad! But I'd never go there again!
The boss lady is very nice. However, the dishes were disappointing and the served time was very slow. Never go again.
