I wish I knew sooner about this place. They serve typical Bombay food The price for quantity and quality were reasonable as well! The owner is friendly and welcoming! And oh yes they're halal
My friend and I had lunch there, wait time was good, my vegetarian biriyani was decent but my friend’s meal was not edible, her butter chicken was too salty, the chicken texture and taste was a bit off and her bread was really oily, I tried her food and it was not good. She is only took a couple of bites and left it, she said she gave this place 3 chances and it failed her each time therefore we won’t return.
Very decent portion for the price and the parathas was freshly hot! Gotta come back and try the mango lassi
Good value for money and tastes quite good. Would certainly visit again. Recommend it totally.
The chicken korma we ordered was not fresh. Also it was too sweet. Goat kheema chef's special as they say also was full of spices and oil. Not recommended. One positive thing is roti/paratha are good.
An all round great gem on Queen St. The chef was kind enough to indulge my request for lamb in the noodle burger for a small fee of course. Loved the stuffed parathas too. Yoghurt on the side made an excellent dipping sauce.
Chicken Szechwan noodles are a must, especially if you are from India and Pakistan and want that spicy, flavourful bite.
It's decent if youre in the area and craving this style of food, not bad but nothing to write home about either. I had the death valley chicken - it's a little disappointing in how they advertise it as ultra hot even have a sign claiming its 7 mil scoville which would require some form of pure capsicum which did make me suspicious but it's probably using birds eye chilli ~200,000. Spicy if youre not used to it but nowhere near what is claimed. At least it tasted ok.
Went there on Wednesday with my family for lunch Had the best Bombay street food experience ever with Aloo paratha and chole bhatura and Misal pav. I would highly recommend to anyone who's looking our for some Indian flavour-filled food with a really great quantity and very reasonable price. We had visited Bombay Chinese umpteen number of times. My family prefer Chinese food American chopsy, schzewan chicken fried rice, hakka noodles and chicken manchurian from here.
