Restaurant seemed very busy but severely understaffed on this day. The waiters were though were very lovely and apologetic of the delays. The food was worth the wait. The portions are bog enough to be shared. Variety on the menu is great to see. Lovely deco as well.
I love this place I’ll rate this place a 3.5 since there’s no option I’m mentioning it here. The staffs are friendly, lovely space, food service is good but their portioning seems to be reducing and price is increasing. Inflation, economical changes I UNDERSTAND but the price should be worthy of the portion to ensure customer satisfaction because I love this place. Their butter fried fish is DELICIOUS Fish Spring Roll is the best in Auckland Seafood stir fried noodles were divine no pics this time as we had it a few months back Vege & Tofu Stir fry was 50/50- Veggies were crunchy but it was too salty with too much of soy sauce. They have minimal options for vegetarians when it comes to dumplings , if they do add that it’ll be a winner and attract more vegetarians who love . I love fish, and their butter fried fish is Definitely will go back to have my usual faves but it’ll be amazing to see them adding more vegetarian and non meat options to their menu.
Great food, great service. First dish came out not even 5 minutes after we had ordered! The butter fried chicken was our favourite. Plenty of leftovers to take home as portions are very generous, will definitely be coming back!
We came at 3pm and they still open for lunch. Greeted by a friendly waiter. Vaccine pass scanned. Good ambience clean and cozy. Very reasonable price for 6 dishes. Each with good portion fed 4 teenagers. We ranked this from the best dish to the less one: 1. Spicy cumin lamb hand ripped noodle 2.beef rice noodle 3. Butter fried chicken 4. Shanghai style braised duck 5. Shanghai style wonton soup 6. Just chicken bao
Halal Chinese Restaurant!! I love this place, the atmosphere and the food were amazing. Tried a couple of their drinks and definitely great portion sizes for a family of 4. Didn't find anything that was a problem for us and enjoyed our time here. I liked the idea of writing down the code for what you wanted "B5, B1 etc.." on a piece of paper so it made it 10x easier to order your food.
I've come to this location on multiple occasions and the standard just seems to be falling. the positives, great interior decorations and excellent menu layout with pictures and clear pricing, and that's mostly where it ends. The service is mediocre, the fried rice is plain, did they forget to season? and had only 3 prawns, which were watery and tasteless. Could the dumplings be the hero? no actually a big dull zero. It could be the lack of freshness, or maybe their presentation was off putting. Won't be back for a long time if ever. Also dirty toilets, as a final slap on the face on the way out.
Amazing taste. It's in city so very approachable. Being vegetarian, ordered vegetarian fried rice and seasonal vegetables. The food was tasty, fresh and hygienic. Ordered spicy and believe me it was hell spicy, but I loved it. Visited again the next day and ordered same food. They are happy to accommodate your requests such as I asked them to not use oyster sauce.
I visit this restaurant 4 times. Now only have time to write review. I love this restaurant some of the food I order is meet my expectations and it delicious some of it below my expectations. My advice if you see a cheaper menu it's better to ask the waitresses how it serve. Just to avoid disappointment but overall I recommend this if you looking for a Chinese halal food.
Well, I walked by this busy place numerous times in the past two three years. Today I walked inside, ordered "Big Plate chicken" for lunch after consulting the friendly waitress. It was finger-licking good, arguably the best I have tried downunder. It's one of the top 10 dishes in Xinjiang, the Northwest of China. If you go there for your lunch break, this may not be a great idea, the cooking itself may take up 20 minutes. Good things take time, I have learnt that, never, ever to rush the chef. The dish is hot, juicy and spicy, with vegetables well-done like roast vegetables. So the best is the flat wide noodles, aka "belt noodles"as it sucks in the tastes from chicken, veges and spices; likewise, the second best is the potatoes, so juicy. The chef has done everything right in this dish, I will return to try others. As with other places in the city, parking may not be easy to find. It's often filled up quickly I arrived early at 11:45, so booking may be essential.
Great place for authentic Chinese food in CBD. Their beef tenderness is the best in the whole country and spice selection is mind-blowing. Space is equally awesome for family and corporate events. Staff is super courteous and service is very fast. Communication might be an issue so I strongly suggest you to use the custom menu paper and write down whatever you needs are and they will take care of it without any problem. Tried their noodles and Pekin duck platter and it was enough for 3 4 ppl. Couldn't see any wheelchair access.
