Best filipino restaurant in Auckland!!!! If you haven’t been to this place, you missed real good food. Swift service, will take orders over the phone, not too pricey. Love the ambience. Thanks to be back after 5 years. It’s been a while and never fails. See you again, keep up guys
Tasty food. Somehow a little bit too saucy . Delicious desserts. Hard to find parking, restaurant is very busy, friendly staff but slow service - understandable because they are busy but we were eating desserts with table half full of empty dirty plates from main , desserts’ sizes look smaller than from the pics I saw online. Very busy & noisy . Gotta be lucky to have staff making eye contact Vegetarian options: Extensive menu to cater different dietary needs Parking: Have to park quite far at paid patking
Would recommend for special occasions as it’s definitely not a cheap eat. Joined a wedding lunch and had a lot of tasty dishes at buffet so decided to go there on our own. Had Pork rib, sweet and sour fish and the beef KALDERETA. LOVED the BEEF. The portion of the beef could be bigger. As comparing to other 2, it felt a bit small.
I've had so many recommendations from Filipino friends to come here for authentic Filipino food and it was delicious! Every dish had strong flavours salty, sweet, spicy paired with soft, fluffy rice. The fried pork belly is a must have side. Leche flan is a firm pudding-like caramel dessert. It is quite sweet. The buko pandan is a pandan flavoured jelly dessert with coconut cream and shaved coconut, very nice.
What a good lunch I had today! This Filipino restaurant is amazing, the food, the services and very good price. I recommend it 100%
Love the hospitality of the staff and the food is amazing. It is our second time to dine in. Kare-Kare and crispy pata is always a hit.. The stir fry veggie is stale, no flavour. I suggest you order the pancit which we tried before. We will come back again..
We had decided to dine at Boracay Filipino Restaurant situated in the heart of Auckland. My wife is craving for filipino Palabok and Halo Halo. Surely if you are a Filipino, when you eat here you will walk out satisfied for the taste and service. If you know the word "nabutigan ako". Pros: easy to find location, tasty food, large serving, very friendly service staff. Cons: $$$,
Service was good. Lechon kawali was crispy and juicy, the way I liked it. Sinigang na bangus was delicious but with bones, i though it was deboned but it wasn’t. Halo-Halo was bland, there were missing ingredients. Overall experience was great.
First time customer, 1st time for Filipino food. Had a great meal, little bit of a snafu getting the order in, but once the food made it to the table, it was fantastic, and worth the wait.Food: 5/5
