This is my Sunday Brunch destination from more than a year now and I must say no one in this universe can make sambhar like them. I’m deeply madly insanely in love with their food and their amazing service. Highly Recommended.
Sunday Vegetarian brunch buffet -nnUnlimited food and one tea or authentic filter coffee for $15.99. Dosa and vada is really nice. Sambar was too delicious. Good customer service.
Terrible experience at this restaurant. We arrived to see an 'Open' sign, only to be turned away by the staff who approached us with a dismissive response claiming that they were preparing for a large booking. No apologies and no estimated wait time. The staff seemed unwilling to serve additional customers and left us feel unwelcome. Not coming back to this place again.
Wow... What a food, what an experience to have a taste like south india. Sat Sun unlimited. Even great customer service.
My son and I ate the South Indian thali. Both the chicken and the lamb …what a delight! It was so good with numerous small dishes including a popadom and a roti and dessert. The flavours were superb and the best I’ve eaten for a number of years. I’m visiting from Blenheim and wish Saffron was in our town. I’ve eaten the same amazing thali for 4 evenings and if the restaurant had been open on Good Friday I’d have enjoyed another evening there! It’s a lovely family restaurant with kind hosts and a great atmosphere at a very good price for the quality food. Thanks Saffron! I will miss you when I go home!
