Nice place for some authentic Indian food. The order came in fast, and the service was good. We didn't like the taste of curry, so in return, the manager made it complimentary for us. We were impressed with good customer service and will come back as they resolved the issue. Naan was really good, better then other places we visited in Auckland. Will recommend this for small or big gatherings.
This restaurant was a treat for my Indian palate. The food was amazing and it didn't feel like I was somewhere abroad. Service was really good too. Highly recommended.
We went there for lunch and decided to order something which we have never tasted so got Nawabi gosht. What a choice! The meat was succulent and perfectly seasoned. The naan were a bit cold but then we never asked to replace them which when they learned about it were very apologetic. The keema naan was just as I thought would be. Fluffy and melting in our mouth.nThe staff is super friendly and helpful. It is quite spacious restaurant and there is plenty of parking available but if you are planning to visit on a weekend night then you may struggle to find one.nI liked the selection of drinks and the welcoming atmosphere.
Food and atmosphere here is great. Especially Ambarasari fish and the Garlic tandoori chicken. Always a good choice for having dinner. Just scoring 3 for service as it took time for anyone to attend to us despite having few attempts. Looking forward to next visit!
Ordered online for pick-up and chose the spice level as indicated on the website. When I arrived for pick-up, I checked the receipt attached to the food and both the curries were made to be mild, whereas I ordered for Indian hot and medium.nnThe server behind the counter began to argue whereas I was simply pointing out that the spice levels are wrong. He said that when customers don’t choose the spice level, they make it mild by default. I told him that I chose the spice level for each curry as I ordered but he argued saying that he cannot see that information on his end. He then told me “don’t be so passive”. I think that was an unnecessary comment whereas I was only pointing out that I didn’t get what I ordered.nnThe restaurant offered to fix the issue and got my food with the desired spice level. No issues with the food as they are absolutely delicious!nnGreat food but awful way to talk to your customers.
