Tried their new addition ‘Unlimited Biryani Thali’ and truly enjoyed it. This includes dal, rice, rasam, chicken 65 and omelette along with biryani. It was worth the spend and definitely love to go back and taste again.
Recently we ordered south Indian food for a birthday party. Extraordinary food was served. Food was delicious. Lot of curries was given than expected. All people were mesmerized by the food and enquired about the food. If you want authentic south Indian food , no second option go for Sahana in Auckland.
Nice atmosphere, and excellent service. The menu is very varied, and included regional dishes we have not been able to find at other Indian restaurants.nWe rate the meal that we had here as excellent. Easily the best Indian cuisine that we have eaten in NZ.
The food was absolutely delicious and authentic—each dish was bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the dosa was crispy and flavorful, and the naan was fresh and soft. Every bite transported me straight to South India!nnThe service was top-notch, and despite the restaurant being busy, the staff ensured that everything was perfect. The attention to detail and customer care truly made this visit stand out.
First time today for us, we found Sahana just by searching in Google for a new place to try.nnWe were not disappointed, we were told food might take a while but we didn't even notice the time pass us by as wel were enjoying ourselves.nnThe wait staff were very polite and helpful, the food arrived and presented well, the most important fact is it all tasted great. The spice levels were more on the mild side but still food was flavourful and we will definitely be back to try more from the menu again.nnA great night out
