Nice ambiance and excellent customer service. Highly recommend for an authentic south India cuisine experience.
Extremely disappointed with the food. We ordered kerala parotta and 2 curries. It was the worst parotta I have ever had in my life. If this is how they serve it all the time, this item should be removed from their menu because it was an absolute disgrace to the food. Hard as a rock with no layers at all. Probably reheated from frozen Store bought frozen ones are way better than these. I can't explain how bad it was through words. We were charged 16.8% surcharge for public holiday + card. So ended up paying $107 for 7 parottas, 1 kerala beef and chicken chettinadu. Beef was good but chicken curry had more gravy and 5 small pieces. It was a complete waste of money. I wish someone had added a genuine review about the parotta so that we wouldn't have ordered here. Please don't order parotta from here because you will regret your choice.
First time today for us, we found Sahana just by searching in Google for a new place to try.nnWe were not disappointed, we were told food might take a while but we didn't even notice the time pass us by as wel were enjoying ourselves.nnThe wait staff were very polite and helpful, the food arrived and presented well, the most important fact is it all tasted great. The spice levels were more on the mild side but still food was flavourful and we will definitely be back to try more from the menu again.nnA great night out
Never one to write a negative review, but I was quite disappointed. Got 4 small pieces of chicken and barely enough sauce to cover 1/3 of the rice and the flavour lacked. The price I paid which included the curry, rice and naan seemed good value but what I got barely matched that.
It was a really great experience dining at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, full of authentic flavours that you rarely get in the restaurants here. The atmosphere and setup is elegant and tastefully done, gives that fine dining feel. While on the slightly expensive side, it is worth every penny. Absolutely recommended
