The Chefs Indian Restaurant

My overall experience here was normal. In terms of the hygiene of the restrooms, I was quite satisfied. I was also satisfied with the quantity of food. However, I was not very happy with the taste of some food especially stuffed mushroom which was stale and stinking. We told this to the staff and we were not charged for it. The lentils that we got were of good taste but the fried rice was not. The worst part was that my apologies for being harsh in the choice of words someone ordered fish which had a peculiar strong smell the staff at reception mentioned so. The room being small and possibly there is no ventilation in the kitchen, the smell was throughout the dining room. That wasn’t a good experience and possibly, I wouldn’t go there again.

Took photos for these dishes in between eating and upon realising this restaurant definitely be given feedback for their yummy food. It was my first visit on my birthday and i was amazed how yummy each and every dish was n all our family members agreed n decided to repeat dining here. Giving complimentary starter for birthday was surely great customer service gesture

It was a hidden gem. From the outside it was not that appealing but oh my god the food was amazing. Some of the best Indian food I have had. Curries were great, portions were big and the mixed entree was huge. The 3 of us loved and are keen to go back.

We have been here 5 times in the last 5 months! And takeaways several times in between. It is that good!nnThe food is always prepared to a high standard and so tasty!nnThe service is amazing! Always with smiles and eagerness to give us the best experience!!nnWe have always loved the Pepper Chicken, Masala Soya Chaap, Tikki, Paneer Tikka, the Garlic Naans, and the complementary salad they give you!nnThis restaurant is a cut above the rest and easily our favourite in East Auckland!nnIf you are ever wanting good Indian food, go here, it will be the best decision you ever make.nnAlso, the food is very reasonably priced!nnTo the Chef's Team, you are all amazing!
