I was craving butter chicken and have not found a butter chicken spot around the area I live in yet. Was searching up for butter chicken spots and came across Jewel of Bombay. Had mixed reviews so thought Id give it a try. I ordered a large butter chicken meal, with a garlic naan and also chips with butter chicken sauce.nnGarlic Naan 9/10n- Fresh, light and fluffy. Beautifully cooked. Delicious.nnChips with butter chicken sauce 4/10n- Chips were fresh and nicely salted. Not really a good combo with the butter chik sauce drizzled over, it made the chips soggy. Didnt taste great. Wouldve preferred just normal chips.nnButter chicken and rice 3/10n- In all honesty, very underwhelming. Lacking that rich creamy flavour. Very plain.nnIn saying that, everyone thats saying the butter chicken is delicious or that its the best butter chicken has probably not had better.nnAs for me, I have high expectations when it comes to butter chicken, I love a thick, creamy butter chicken with a hint of sweetness in it.nnThank you for the experience Jewel of Bombay.

I just ordered via uber eats app 15mins ago and Wow you guys are never a disappointment. Always appreciate your food and my instructions with my notes was on point. Keep up the great work these guys threw in a free bottle of coke and Naan bread with my order.

Ordered thru Uber eats late at night as my usual Indian spot was closed. They followed my dietary requirements and food portion was generous. The curry was more fluidly compared to most places but taste was not compromised .nOrdered the paneer curry with butter naan

Very tasty food. We are working our way through the menu. Lamb Korma, Dal Makhani, Goat curry, are top 3 at the moment. Also Chicken Tikka is yummy too. I love that there are very generous portions for the price and there is more meat/chicken than sauce in all dishes we've had.

Fantastic food. Went there all the time, probably one of the only good things going for Mangere. Third world vibes in that food area.
