Really fast and friendly service. I asked for French Toast with bacon the first time but still got bacon, then I ordered again today and asked for blueberries instead of bananas and bacon and I got it. Still too sweet for my liking but it ain't too bad.
We walk and pass by this shop, found that really crowded, so we walk in and give a try. The staff here are so friendly, and the food portion is worth the price. The size big of drinks really worth it too.
A lovely little cafe with delicious food. The staff are friendly and efficient but a word of warning - watch out for the sparrows if you’re sitting al fresco! They are likely to dive-bomb any unattended food!
One of the great spots to get a great coffee and food at Mangere Bridge Village. Quick service and great people working every time for years!Food: 5/5
Probably the best value trim chai latte that I've ever had. Large portion sizes on the food, and at very reasonable prices, almost enough to make one wonder if they're actually in Auckland.Food: 5/5
Lovely food! It’s always fresh and hot. Corn fritters are a favourite of mine - they’re packed with goodness and come paired with a lovely relish. The coffee is more than halfway decent excellent in my opinion and I’ll admit, I cannot resist their gingerbread men. The staff are friendly and always provide quality service.
Lovely Cafe, friendly staff, yummy food and very reasonably priced. And the best Tropical smoothie
Leaving my original review below as their Big Brekkie is still the best one I've had in the Mangere area. But as a regular of Ruby Red I was disappointed by the service today. I normally pop in for coffee but was huungry and ordered lunch to take away. Staff member gave me what I thought was my toasted bacon and brie panini. I decided to eat-in and took a bite off the end when the lady owner/manager berated me for not noticing that I was eating a ham and cheese toastie, meant for someone else. I told her, "this is what your staff gave me?". I pulled it out of the paperbag and yup, was a toastie. You can't really tell after its been sandwich pressed. My bad, but not my error. I was annoyed and embarrassed by then, even her apology came off as ingenuine. Note, I don't want to take away from the awesome and friendly service from other staff there but today was an unwelcoming experience that could've been handled better by this staff member/owner. You didn't seem pleased even after you apologised and then went on to speak in your native tongue loudly and rudely to your staff right next to me. Whether you were talking about me or going off at them, either way it was unprofessional, why I'm giving a temporary 1 star. Head to Ruby Red and treat yourself to the Big Brekkie. A slight upgrade from the usual mixed grill, in the Mangere area, that is. Comes with a gourmet pork sausage gf, roast potatoes, creamy mushroom nice and light, bacon, eggs any style, wholegrain toast with butter and tomato. Gotta give butter some cred, doesn't come cheap these days A decent sized plate of brekkie goodness. Kid-friendliness: Has a lil kids corner.
Great coffee, excellent salmon filo, scrumptious Carrot Cake, moist, full of flavour. Outdoor dining, welcoming staff
