We have spacious dining areas - street side, inside or on our fabulous covered back deck. All food can be made to go, we also offer catering and our premise can be hired after hour for private functions. We are situated opposited the main park entrance to Cornwall Park, children's playground, Auckland Stardome & One Tree Hill. Everyone welcome. Kids activites and wheelchair friendly. Lovely place with a selection of cabinet food and menu items for breakfast and lunch. I tried eggs Benedict which had beetroot cured salmon and smoked tomato hollandaise sauce . Very delicious. loved this place ! booked for father's day for 4 people. getting anyone to take a booking was a novelty in itself. The staff here are very friendly and give great service. the coffee first up is top notch and the menu was excellent - I like the way it is broken down with sides to choose and add on. We all had something different and were all very impressed. Presentation and size is well thought out and executed.
A bit expensive, but I'd say it was worth it. Great place to go after a morning excerise.Food: 5/5
We happened across Urban Verge on the way home and most opportunistically, we got a park right out front, so it was espresso craving serendipity! The service was exceptional, warm and engaging and consultative when conferring for an opinion on a dilemma of “caramel hazelnut slice” or “chocolate brownie”? Chocolate brownie won out and the crust was crisp and vanilla flavoured with sludgy chocolatey centre, coupled with fresh cream, it was heavenly to my tastebuds and coupled with a divine latte bowl, what more could I ask for! The cafe interior space is beautiful and spacious with a expansive flow through. I’d live to visit again to lunch in.
The reception is unfriendly to tourists. She spoke so fast that we didn't hear her clearly. She repeated it and we understood it. Then she sighed, showing obvious impatience. It's really depressing to see such a service attitude early in the morning, and we won't come again.
Very friendly staff with good wholesome food. A nice weekend lunch! Staff were very attentive to my wife’s dietary requirements. Would definitely visit again.
Delicious and healthy vegan and gluten free food are cooked almost perfect. There are normal food available but choose this place for these options. Love the food are not greasy too. The place is just across One Tree Hill and next to Royal Oak Mall. Service was excellent and could have given a rating of 5 but because there was some flies flying around due to hot weather and frontage of the cafe was opened to the sidewalk. Maybe some portable electric fans or fly catcher can be placed to shoo away these flies.
This local Cafe is the best. First time for us visiting this place and loved every single thing, customer service and food is delicious Keep up the good work
Convenient place to dine-in and relax. Provides refreshments, cabinet foods and other short order. Their carrot cake was excellent!
This place was almost a 5 star. The food was cooked well and tasted very good. The staff were friendly. The place was clean. Even the vegan food tasted good which can be hard to pull off. Coffee tasted very good. It's rare to find a place with both great coffee and food. Only comments about it was that we ordered spicy chicken burgers but there was no spice. Tasted great but wasn't as advertised. I will be visiting again though and I recommend this place to others.
