Onehunga Cafe

It was one of my favorite cafe few years ago. I haven't visit them since COVID. It seems they changed owners; menu we changed; food quality is going down. We ordered a big breakfast. The scrambled eggs was rubbery and mushrooms was burnt. Coffee is OK.

Delicious food and professional friendly service!! I wanted to take a picture of the nicely made coffee but made a terrible mistake~~ but the lady staff was quick on response and very helpful. Sorry about my clumsiness, I will be back for more food! ^~^

1st visit and food was tasty! Fish tacos were so delicious and coffee was great. What stood out to me the most was the kindness and empathy displayed by a young male working at the register. He asked if it was ok to order our coffees in 10mins to give the barista some time, as she was overwhelmed. Didn’t bother me at all and probably gave me more time to think of what order i’d like for lunch than panic order Recommended and will be back for sure!

Scrumptious tacos! The iced coffee blend was thick and creamy too, nicely made. Service could’ve been more courteous

Food was sooo yummy we ate it before we could even take a photo lol! Friendly service from D, and our meals came out so quickly. Highly recommend! P.S, photo is of the custard donut we got for desert. Rest of the food was gone too fast

Lovely staff and restaurant. Yummy food Went back for Good Friday Brunch with our mokos, noticed there is a playpen on the other end of the shop which we haven’t been the last we were here and toilet is so clean. Kudos Recommended dishesWaffles and Fried Chicken, Fish N Chips, Avocado

If you are a fun of dressmart and you are hungry, this is a best and convenient cafe to be. It is located just beside dressmart. I recommend the southern fried chicken, yum with aioli dip. It is a busy cafe its like there is no downtime but we didnt wait that long for our order. They have outdoor table as well. Huge place for cafe. Good service with huge food option.

Had really high hopes for this place as we have been hunting for chicken waffles for a very long time. But sadly this just wasn't it the waffles alone where amazing but the meat on it was over cooked and dry. And to top it all off was told the the other dish was not available kumra nest as my food was been served. Which we would have liked to have been told much earlier on so we could switch the dish.

Easy to find place right next to a roundabout. Parking available around the streets. Seating on the outside for the nice cooler air. Lots of seating indoors a large spacious venue. I ordered the pork, egg and waffles which was delicious I have never had that before and that was a good choice check my photo's Good service and meals
