Redoubt Bar & Eatery

Chose Redoubt as it had an extensive menu with options for our diverse group. We came in late, after a 5:00 tour of Hobbiton, so were grateful for a space that served later in the day. As luck would have it, 3 of our party of 6 opted for the daily special only to find out as we ordered, they ran out. But our waitress was good enough to check and discovered they could fill the order. Food was good. Staff was great. Looks like a place where the locals enjoy gathering, so that always speaks volumes.

Very nice bar on main street. Staff are friendly. Three different options to sit outside on footpath High tables and stools, inside or an alley bit on the side all very good options. I didn't eat but they have a lunch ends at 5pm or dinner menu there similar but dinner has steaks ribs. Menu Photos added.

The atmosphere was great, and Kelly was welcoming and had great customer service. Nice touch was asking our names and using them. The pork sliders were very tasty and the others enjoyed the sticky chicken. GF Options for mains and a dessert. Good drinks list both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Clean bathrooms.

Loved it! Great selection of food and beverage. Great quality. Excellent everything. Wait staff is on top of it.

Every local and Google recommended Redoubt for a decent meal. So we decided to give it a go. The food was great good serving size and service was nice and efficient. Recommended.
