Dried rubbish chicken concealed by 3 pieces of half decent chicken on the top. So dry even the bones are crumbly.nUpdate, after the manager hung up on us twice we drove back to this dump to seek a refund, we were greeted by 4 workers attempting to intimidate and refused to give our refund although we had return most of the dried nasty food. They instead threatened us with the police, which we welcomed, it was only after the police arrived that we were given our refund. Great way to waste police resources KFC, I can see why so many other people get agitated by your staff and their terrible training in both food and customer service.
There was 5 staff members sitting around while we waited about 20 minutes to even PLACE our order in the drive through... it's called a fast-food joint for a reason... this isn't fast. The food is alg, but that wait time? Almost doesn't make it worth it if you ask me.
Very slow service, cold wet windy day and inside was cold. Food a bit greasy and not that hot.
Never using Matamata KFC again. They never put seasoning on fries. Specifically asked for some seasoning on them, they asked if I wanted extra and I said yes please. Got home and absolutely none on them. 2 wings in a 2 piece quarter pack. Every other KFC is always good. Just Matamata.
Staff are extremely rude! After forgetting my coleslaw… she accused me of lying insisting I got the order when it was clearly missing in the bag. She said she’ll check the “cameras” next time making me out to be a thief.
