For a budget hotel the rooms are very good. Windows that open for fresh air, very comfortable bed and bedding. Yes the shower is old but water is hot.nThe dining is what makes this place shine. Excellent meals and snacks.nThe waiting staff are amazing especially Hazel in Bar and Dining, well done for top level customer service.

Great surroundings and atmosphere. Steak cooked Rare to perfection and nicely seasoned before grilling.nnStaff very friendly and mean well, although the best of intentions, a little overwhelming when being kept asked if everything is okay...the two male waiters were consistently pleasent and helpful even though what seemed busy moment's with patronsnnKeep up the good work

Dinner was great sticky chicken is a winner served with rice and salad. The seafood basket was tasty and the service was lovely smiling courteous thanks team H & J

Just went to the restaurant. Great food, cooked and presented well. Very tasty. Pleasant atmosphere with a nice gas fireplace for warmth and creates a good atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff member looked after us.

Waitress was lovely and took our order correctly. Cook obviously doesn't care or read how people like their meal- salad came out with onion in it and the male waiters solution was to just remove it frm my plate. Steak cooked- medium well came out blood red and bleeding profusely on the inside and with bits of charcole on the outside, they took it back to fix it and it came back with more charcole on the outside, still RED on the inside but at least the bleeding had stopped. Asked for no pepper seasoning and the potato the steak was sitting on had pepper all thru it.nOnce again Waitress was lovely and did her job well, the rest of the staff totally useless and uncaring.
