Had a pie in the best pie place in the world. Then there was COVID. Yep. Can't really add much to that. When the world returns to normal go there Very good food.

Best pork crackle or chicharon . Missed the Halo² tonight. But send a message to grab it next time. We enjoyed our take aways dinner. Beef caldereta, pork sisig, pork bbq, siomai, and pork belly hamon.

Am so glad I tried this place! We were passing through Matamata and looked up top-rated restaurants for lunch. Food Trip was somewhere in the middle of the list, but should be at the top! We had the fried chicken half and a beautiful beef stew, both were excellent. Will definitely be back.

What a gem in Matamata! We were a group of 4 adults 2 kids from Auckland. Best pork meals we have had ! Service was friendly, food came on quick. They even refunded me for overcharging me. The Baos and dumplings are also Devine! An absolute must visit!

Excellent food! Very well flavored chicken, and the best slaw salad I've ever eaten. Fully recommended : I'll be back soon.
