This was recommended as the best pies in NZ so we ended up getting a bunch of pies to go which we ended up eating for days. It’s located in a strip mall so there are a lot of parking spots. At lunchtime on a Sunday, there was a significant queue already but it moved along quickly. Grab a tray, pick stuff from the self-serve area, order some drinks, pay up and you’re done. Pies range from $6-8.

I had the Creamy Mushroom, Bacon, and Cheese Pie. It's delicious. The pasty is flaky and moist, and the filling is baked to perfection. Pies never impress me, but this was the best pie I've eaten.

I am in New Zealand for a month and the very first thing we did was get a Pats pie! I chose the Chicken, camembert and cranberry pie out of the mass of flavours on the menu. Cannot fault it at all, an amazing pie washed down with an L&P after a 30 hour flight!
