Papatoetoe Night Market

I would first like to premise that I really enjoy checking out the night markets, however, the Papatoetoe Nights Markets, for me anyway, were a little chaotic and crowded due to the cramped and little space there was to navigate through.nnFor the usual patrons it's most likely not a big deal. But for people checking it out for the first time it could feel a little overwhelming.nnI only purchased some cookies, but I do have to say that the cookies themselves were DELICIOUS. I mean seriously yummy.nnThe difficulty isnt so much weaving oneself through the very cramped spaces, it's trying to stand still to checkout the menu boards of the food carts and stalls you stop at. Because of the limited space, unless you are almost literally wedged up against the front counter or if you're fortunate enough to have found a clear spot to stand, you will either block the crowd or be swept along with them.nnOpening up a lot more of the parking space area would create ample space to spread out their stalls etc, allow the option of setting up tables and chairs for patrons to sit and enjoy the delicious purchased, and finally, provide the room for people to walk through and enjoy a more spacious and vibrant atmosphere.nnAll in all, it has the potential to be a great place to go to, but at the moment, there a more ideal Night Markets with a dining area and that are a little more spacious.

The food stalls are amazing and definitely the highlight of the market. When we go, we only go for the food. nnThere's lots of options so there's something for everyone. Lots of dessert options, BBQs, Korean, Chinese, Malaysian, Indian food, a few Vietnamese options and plenty more flavors to choose from.nnThe night market itself is held in the underground car park of Hunter's Plaza.nnLots of parking but does get full because of the huge crowd!nnI thinks its a pretty good night market for food. The other stalls are good too but honestly I've only been for the food.

Must Do! All kinds of fun. Held in the Underground Car Parking in Hunter's Corner Papatoetoe, mega Crowded - not for the introverted..food options 10 out 10! Limited Vietnamese choices - Pho was the go... Friday Night Vibes!

We had a blast at the auckland night market, have been to the one in mt wellington and the papatoetoe one which is identical. So much range, can get cheap knock off labels, nails done, you can even get a tattoo there. Kids thought it was epic! I always find the vibe great!

If you go early, you beat the crowd -but not all stalls may be up and running. Plenty of variety, 2nd best Bahn Mi place I've tried in AKL was one of the stalls there.
