I had a fantastic experience at Lucky Star Yum Cha! The customer service was exceptional, with staff being friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The prawn dumplings were delicious—perfectly cooked with a flavorful filling and a delicate wrapper. It was a great meal overall.

An old school style yum cha restaurant in the heart of Papatoetoe. The interior is old and they serve traditional Cantonese cuisine. It is very local. The food is cheaper than other yum cha places in central Auckland. The taste and portions are good, especially the shaomai and congee. Worth to check out if you are in the area.

Food is really good here, service is fast. Best to come early when it opens as it's not as busy or noisey. Also don't wait and look for waitresses when trying to find food. Go up to the front counter make your ordernnMy four dishes, prawn hargow, pork suimai, BBQ pork rice noodles roll and pork spareribs came to $30.60, amazing value and probably the cheapest in auckland

We had a family of 23 whom was celebrating birthdays. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The owner Sunny was very Friendly and kind. He made some special food to serve us which was his signature fried rice and pudding. It's a must try, some dishes that we have gotten isn't on the menu at all, but because of the group size and the special event, they made it special for us. Thank you for your hospitality !!!
