Oriental Kingdom Cafe

We were looking for lunch and didn’t really know what we felt like and this place hit the spot. Nasi goreng photo and a #16 were hot and tasty and with us quickly. We’d do it again.

Full stars! The service was lovely and the food is cheap and delicious. This place definitely deserves more customers! If you're unsure what to get as I was too, I got the Mee Goreng and it was devine. My partner got the Roti Chanai and it was equally yummy. Give it a go!

Food was average quite oily and not hugely flavourful, big portions, so value for money and food came out within 5 mins not sure thats a good thing lol. The decor is a bit dated and you get one tiny napkin with nothing else available.Food: 2/5

This place doesn’t have the best first impressions, as the facilities let’s say that have a lot of room for improvement... this is just a very basic place for seating or take away, is more like a really simple and cheap place. Having said that: the food is amazing. I’ve been there a few times now and the food is always great, very flavoured dishes. It has a variety of Asian and Malaysian home traditional food. The plates a huge and probably for sharing... but once you start eating you won’t want to share! Around $10-$15 for a main I highly recommended it.

We didn't have to wait too long for the food to come. Food wasn't too bad and wasn't excellent. However, the staff aren't too friendly. They just stood there when both of our bank cards declined chip error. Turns out it happens for all of the customers, and yet he didn't bother to notify us of this that there was an issue with their machine. Also, just stood looking while we were entering the pin. Interesting service.

Bee hoon was tasty. Great value. Calamari was weird and undercooked. Staff friendly and not pushy which was nice.Food: 4/5

Thought we stumbled on a hidden gem - food was cheap but nice, friendly staff, but my partner got bad food poisoning from the sweet n sour pork. Then we looked on reviews and saw others had similar experiences.
