Orewa Beach Fish & Chips

The fish was large, very juicy, and fresh. And the chips were nicely cooked. I wouldn’t recommend getting the thick shake cus it wasn’t thick at all, and the taste was not as good as i usually like from other places.

Great place and a great location. Whenever I come out here for work, try to come here whenever I can. Confused as to why some people give low stars, I've never had an issue here.nn- Snapper 9.3/10nGreat consistency when it comes to their fillets of snapper. Also, the batter is light and golden.n- Chips 8.4/10nI like the seasoning they put on the chips, and the serving is a decent amount. I'd like more of the seasoning for the chips.n- Scallop bites 7.3/10nThey were ok. The bites have a nice crunch, and we're good to have as a side to the combo.nIf you're ever in orewa, check this shop out, and enjoy it at the beach.

This is my second time eating at this shop while visiting Orewa, and I really love their wedges.nnI brought some rice and fried vegetables from home because I am going on a day trip with my parents from Auckland.nnI asked the cashier if I could eat my food at their table since I brought it from home. They were very kind and allowed us to do so. I am extremely grateful for their hospitality.nnRecommended fish and chip when u get to Orewa.

This place was very good and only place we buy fish and chips in Orewa. But today was a disappointing . Fish was soggy, undercooked , and has a taste that cooked in old oil.

Fantastic place to have the best fish and chips, gluten free ingredients and Vegan choices. Be patient waiting for the food it’s lovely. Don’t judge the appearance. Quiet little hideaway.nA huge favourite!!!
