Ordered takeaways on the phone, they took around 20mins to be ready, lady on the phone was nice, so was the man at the shop. The food was hot and flavourful.nWe got Hoki, chips, chicken fried noodles, a hamburger, sweet and sour pork, and bbq fried rice

I ordered over the phone and went to pick it up. When I arrived, the staff member had completely forgotten about my order they weren’t busy at the time. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, she told me my order had been swapped with another one. Since I was quite hungry, I said that was fine and asked her to give me the other order. She then tried to charge me, but when I asked where the order was, she said she still had to make it.nnMistakes can happen, and I understand that. However, I would have appreciated honesty from the beginning instead of being told something that wasn’t true.

This review is purely based on the Sweet and Sour Pork. I had almost pregnancy-like cravings for this dish ever since I returned to NZ on holiday. Sun Ma delivered not a child as I am not actually pregnant, but on taste and moorishness. So much so, that later on, half asleep and clearly dreaming about what I ate for dinner, I revisited the remains of the dish before returning to bed again. I am now trying to find a sweet and sour pork that hits the spot in such a way, but I have not been successful so far. Thank you Sun Ma!

First time trying Sun Ma, it is a very busy and popular joint. Ordered, combination fried rice, fish burger, fish and chips.nThe fish and chips are great, no complaints - drained very well, chips were fresh and crispy. Fish and crab stick and a nice thin batter, and the chicken wing was good.nFish burger was also good.nFried rice was great, you can tell their wok is well seasoned. Definitely will come back again. I had no problem with the phone ordering and picking up as I can see other reviews had that problem.

Never had a bad meal from here. Fast service and staff are all lovely and polite. Would definitely recommend
