For an overnight stay, our ground floor studio divided into 3 areas seemed very good. The shower area is small and the fixed showerhead made it impossible for my husband to use it. I managed Ok but prefer an adjustable head so that my hair remains dry. The inner kitchenette was very dark & windowless but located on the way to the bedroom. There was an unusual & unexpected sloping ramp joining the two areas. Going to the bathroom at 6.30 am in the morning, I stumbled in the dark, on the ramp and my left leg shot out to correct a possible fall and hit the black leg of the small table positioned hard against the wall but halfway across the doorway. Poor design. My middle toe was rammed and very severely bruised. I've had difficulty walking until today- five days on. A pity as the service was excellent. Rooms: See above.

The only downfall is that we are getting overcharged for one night and prices higher than said on the Internet on the day we booked. Lovely hosts and great locationRooms: 5/5
Place itself was great. But the bed throw it out get some new ones. Old box spring bed no padding to hide every spring in this bed. If u like a hard bed an springs in back this is for u.Rooms: 2/5

Excellent location. Friendly helpful staff. Fast, clear communication. Great room - smart, comfortable, clean, everything we needed. Reasonably priced. Loved that it was dog friendly and had a great space across the road for dog walks. It will be the only place we stay at for any future visits. Thank for providing a great base for what was an emotionally difficult visit to Wanganui.
