Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge

Spotlessly clean, well maintained, and it had everything that I needed. Great shower, clean and comfortable bedding. This was a great place to stay in Whanganui. Great value for money. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will continue to stay here in future.

100% highly recommend Cooks Gardens Motor Lodge! Russ/Ross was friendly and super helpful upon arrival. Outstanding level of cleanliness in the room with great practical amenities. Parking right outside our unit. The highlight of the entire stay.....The linen smelt like heaven!! So fresh, clean and soft. Beds were super comfortable and pillows were like a cloud. The cleaners were so polite and respectful the next morning, offering to top up our teas and coffees and give us fresh towels. Very professional, fast and discreet as they moved through the room. The outdoor seating was a nice touch and we found ourselves enjoying the morning and evening light there.nEveryone slept beautifully. Nice safe feeling throughout the lodge. We will most definitely be returning.

Such a great stay for us and our extended family. Exceptionally friendly staff, clean, ample facilities with shower products and a stock of towels for all guests. While it’s near the main road, it was remarkably quiet! Loved the spa bath too. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Fantastic!!! Room was immaculate and clean. Everything I needed, lovely smelling body wash and fresh towels. Warm and very comfortable bed with lovely pillow coming from someone who has neck issues and pillows are a big dealnStaff were super friendly and helpful, even when I locked myself out of my room at 6am sorry! The staff were more than accommodating and didn’t make me feel like a complete numptey nFab location, so close to all ammenities. Parking right outside my room which made it convenient.nDef recommend this place, it exceeded my expectations! Thank you so much

Top motel with nice clean spacious rooms. Great friendly helpful staff too. Just a short walk to town, restaurants,cafe's and supermarket and shops. Comfortable beds and really great furniture and kitchen facilities. Always nice to have a spa bath as well.
