I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely upsetting and needs to be shared.nWe purchased chicken from your Henderson location at around 3:45 pm. Later in the evening, when my partner got home, we finally sat down to eat. To our shock, we discovered what appeared to be small magnet-like objects inside the chicken. This was not only disturbing but extremely concerning from a food safety perspective.nShortly after, my partner became unwell,vomiting and visibly distressed. It was serious enough that we went back to the store in person before heading next door to White Cross for medical attention. At that point, we were shaken, worried, and just wanted the situation acknowledged and handled responsibly.nWhen we called the store around 7 pm to report the issue, instead of receiving concern or support, we were questioned about why we “called so late,” and told that the complaint was not valid because of the time gap. That response was incredibly disappointing. People don’t always eat takeaway immediately after purchase, and dismissing a food safety issue on that basis shows a lack of accountability and care.nWhat made matters worse was being told outright that no compensation or resolution would be offered, despite the seriousness of the situation and the clear distress it caused.nThis was a horrible experience overall—both in terms of food safety and customer service. I strongly urge the business to review its food handling practices and staff training, especially around how to respond to serious complaints. No customer should be made to feel dismissed in a situation like this.

We used to love getting takeaway from here, but our experience last night was absolutely horrifying. While eating our dinner, we noticed clusters of small white objects on the fried chicken. At first glance, you might think they are sesame seeds, but looking closer, they were unmistakably fly eggs.n​Disgustingly, I had already eaten a portion of the food before realising what it was. I ended up violently ill with vomiting and had to rush to an after-hours doctor in the middle of the night. ​Fly eggs cannot survive cooking temperatures, which means this food was left uncovered and exposed to pests after being prepared. It shows a severe and dangerous lack of basic hygiene and food safety standards.n​I am incredibly disgusted and disappointed by this. We will absolutely never be returning. Save yourself a trip to the medical clinic and avoid this place. A formal complaint has been lodged with the Auckland Council.

The best Korean Fried chicken I've had in a while! Don't have to travel all the way to town!nnHighly recommend the snow chicken! The bowls are stacked and taste amazing too!nnGreat vibe and eating spot inside :

nMy usual sushi spot Maki Sushi was closed, so I stopped by Munch Korean Fried Chicken for dinner and I’m so glad I did. Bella at the front counter was absolutely lovely and super helpful. She helped modify my Munch bowl to make it healthier for me, less white rice and more salad, which I really appreciated.nnThank you, Bella, for your kindness and great customer service. Keep up the amazing work!

Got the Red-Hot Spicy Munch bowl, fries and a drink k for $22 dollar. Tasted great and the portion size was really big, lots of chicken and fries. Good value and good food.
