About

a Modern Family Eatery... celebrating great food with family and friends!

Story

Our name is a nod to the beautiful grounds of our surrounding Waitakere. We’re not doctors but we’re pretty sure a glass of great wine and a bite to eat can solve (just about) any problem.
Lead by two dads who know their way around the kitchen – Mike Shatura & Ben Bayly. Our seasonal menus have been put together with a thought to the kiwi lifestyle and local Waitakere suppliers.
Sit down and eat family style for breakfast, lunch or dinner or grab some light eats and artesian ice-cream at our tuck shop, sit out side and enjoy the park.
Cosy. Convivial. Quality-obsessed. That’s us in a nutshell.

Very warm and welcoming! Food is delicious and caters to your dietary reservations - even customized my burger. Slightly pricey but would recommend for all special occasions.
Beautiful venue and the food is consistently amazing and so yummy! Definitely recommend. Kids play area is awesome.
Been here a few times already. Serves is always great, food is excellent just a bit of a small portion for mains but all ingredients are super fresh, Excellent deco lots to play for the kids as the outside grounds is perfect to keep the kids playing for hours.
I came to your restaurant tonight, paid $28 for a burger that didn't come with fries lol. My friend got the steak which was 2 strips, would have been a kids meal at best. Really disappointing compared to what this place used to be. Won't EVER be going back.
