Delicious food and cocktails. Fantastic happy hour Mon-Fri 4-6pm with $10 Jameson cocktails. The restaurant area did downstairs is lovely. We had a seat by the open kitchen and enjoyed watching all the lovely dishes being made. We had the short rib tacos, duck lettuce cups, duck breast, and chocolate fondant...all were excellent.
Great atmosphere. The cocktails were great, I had one of theirs Sunday’s special, good value. Food was good but I would say a bit overpriced
Prices are on the higher side. We ordered the salt and pepper squid and pork ribs. Good place for a drink and to hang out.
It’s too noisy inside, hard to hear each other even we are sitting at same table. Our candle got flameout as we sat down but the waiter didn’t change one for us.
Just had some bar snacks here but they were great, nothing to really complain about here.
Food was delicious. May be the best cocktails I have ever had. The bartender put a lot of focus in attention to detail in making the drinks. They were so good that we ended up trying about 8 different cocktails. Definitely would recommend stopping here.
Great, fresh, quality, tasty food with a nice atmosphere. The sharing plates are the best.
The $20 steak on Wednesday is such a great deal price wise, but failed to deliver on the actual taste of the food. The portion size was okay for a person with a small appetite like me. Although they cooked the steak how I wanted it, for some reason it was just tough, not a pleasant mouth experience, I had to work hard. Steak sauce was nice but there wasn't enough of it. Ending in a positive note service is fantastic here, the staff are friendly and attentive, I would come back here for drinks but not food.
The setting and service was good. However I was really disappointed with the wagyu burger and the shoestring fries. It was a poorly composed burger which I found quite bland with a patty that was burnt in parts. My partner who had suggested we come to the restaurant also said that her fish tacos weren’t as good as the first time she had tried it. Perhaps the other food options would have been better but that’s just my optimism speaking.
Food was great. We went on a Thurs night and had the $20 steak special which came with Veges and thick cut fries. Service was also good. The only down side was we came with a bunch of kids who popped up the road to get ice cream while we were finishing up with coffee. They came back and hadn't finished their ice creams and were asked to leave. While I completely understand their position on this the place was nearly empty and it was miserable outside so we left our coffees and went with the kids. It would have been nice if they had used their discretion while emphasising it was against policy.
